UX Design Lead

Role summary:

Tradera’s UX/design lead takes a commanding role in creating simple, engaging and easy to use experiences at all stages of the buying and selling journey at Tradera, both on the web and in the apps. In everyday work you will be critical in ensuring a smooth flow of product iterations; typically taking form as discussions within the team, creating rough sketches, mockups, prototypes or what you and the team think is best fit for purpose. Close collaboration and communication with the product owners, developers and wider departments is a natural part of your role.

At Tradera the UX/design lead has a strategic outlook with a meticulous everyday focus on delivering hands on improvement for our users.

The team: We are working in smaller self-organizing teams that usually consist of 3-4 developers, a PO and a UX designer. Physically the UX lead will be seated in the Buyer web team and on a daily basis deliver work to this team. However, responsibility spans cross-platform across the entire product. This also means that you will stay in close contact with other UX persons working in the Selling and Payment teams.

Responsibilities:

You will have a thirst for a deep understanding of Tradera’s customers needs today as well as in the future. Therefore, you should be able to ensure that Tradera is working customer insights driven whilst being able to make efficient and informed decisions when working within the UX of the product.

It will be your responsibility to ensure that the Tradera user experience is cohesive regardless of device or platform.

To work on a daily basis with UX/design improvements in the Buyer Web and assist other teams when needed.

Understanding our current product and where to improve user interaction flows and different areas of functionality.

You will feel at your most comfortable working in collaboration with the rest of the team, in particular POs and frontend developers - you will ensure that we keep a smooth workflow where UX and design is concerned at all stages of the product lifecycle.

To understand user pain points, generate hypothesis for resolution and build easy to test interaction flows.

Have a good understanding of best practice on the global market and to continuously improve our teams working knowledge.

Job requirements:

You will have several years’ experience of working within UX and design in a digital context (preferably within a product organization). You should be used to working in close collaboration with the development teams and have a keen eye for understanding real users needs, with knowledge of best practices across mobile and web user interfaces.

It is important that you are good at communicating towards other UX/designers, developers, product owners as well as Marketing and other departments.

As a person you have lots of positive energy and like to put yourself in the shoes of our users. We’re looking for someone with the ‘can-do’ attitude.

Being able to hold in a customer interview in Swedish and understand our UX flow, which is Swedish is important to us.
